Pros

Great work environment Solid benefits Excellent growth opportunity Good visionary leadership at the top level - well connected throughout the other levels of the company Good work life balance Plenty of travel opportunities Great place to start your career to learn and participate in a wide variety of functional areas OMP will sponsor your professional certifications including CSCP, CPM,...etc.

Cons

Struggle at times with the pace of growth. HQ is in Belgium which sometimes leads to disconnect Somewhat of an identity crisis as they are stuck between small and mid-size consulting firm. The compensation of your typical consulting profile reflects this. Not an established brand which can make resume building more challenging More of a software/IT implementation company than a business / mgmt consulting firm, depending on what you are looking for this may not be the company for you. This can lead to a lack of professional growth in the business area.

Pros

The team at OM Partners is hard to beat. Everyone is cool, there is a real family atmosphere to the office, and co-workers become friends. New hires will begin working with clients quickly, and rapidly gain experience. There is a startup feel to the company, there is free candy and drinks, and a ping pong table. Consultants will work with the supply chain teams of multiple companies (perhaps a few different projects per year) to understand different supply chain organizations and will gain experience in communication, programming, and business development. There is also travel to some interesting places.

Cons

The work load tends to be high and most consultants work over 40-hours weeks. Travel can really be a pro or a con, but for people with family it can be tough (travel tends to be around 30%). This is not a good choice for someone who wants an easy, 9 to 5 job.

Pros

The company culture and values are great, the team chemistry is also spectacular and makes working at OM Partners USA extremely easy. Everyone is willing to help you from both the US office and the HQ in Belgium. Project involvement from the begining helps you learn very fast. The company culture helps you develop the career path you chose and guides you through the different stages.

Cons

Time difference with HQ makes it a bit difficult to do collaborative work with them. Still have too much of a "small business" mindset and the company is growing very fast, which gives HR and Admin a bit of trouble.
