Pros

Great benefits! Good Pay. Senior Leadership team is great. Lots of organizational structure and resources.

Cons

Middle Management can be tortuous at times and stays till retirement because the benefits are so good. Very old school disciplinarian, with little daily incentive/inspiration from middle managers, although Senior Leadership is working to transform.

Pros

Decent pay, good experience and research opportunities depending on mentor

Cons

Experience dependent on mentor, only benefit is that they offer health insurance and pay part of your premium, if there’s a government shutdown they will maintain your health insurance but there’s no chance of you getting any form of back payor working overtime to make up the lost wages, no career advancement opportunities or aid
