Pros

Friendly, helpful employees who are always willing to share their opinions and tips. Their advice was especially helpful when considering career choices. There is also opportunity for pursuit of one's own research, which is very rewarding.

Cons

My commute was not the most ideal (hour or more by car) but that was really the only negative experience besides the process after the initial hiring. Entry into the government as a federal employee took a long time.
