The job is fulfilling in the sense that you have the opportunity to learn a lot about scientific research. You can make your own work schedule. The stipend is very good. Communication with people at ORAU is outstanding, they are very willing to work with you and help you in any way. You get to travel.

Cons

You are required to have health insurance and they offer it through them at an outrageous price so beware and buy it somewhere else

Pros

The company is well-established, stable, and growing. The new CEO is instituting changes to improve performance and quality while maintaining integrity. Management is supportive of employee efforts to balance work and life. My hard work is recognized and rewarded within the limits set by the government contract ORAU supports.

Cons

Some employees have a 'we've always done it that way' mentality that inhibits necessary changes and improvements to work processes. The rapid growth of the company has led to some growing pains.
