Pros

Work life balance Decent benefits

Cons

Every office position is being replaced with recent college grads who don’t know the industry. Leadership doesn’t understand industry which will eventually hurt shareholders and bottom line.

Pros

Good support, local team was good and fun to work with. Opportunity to move within company if willing to move.

Cons

Don't expect to get paid out the two weeks when you submit your resignation. They will not honor it and term you that day along with not pay you out for the remaining personal days you are provided at the beginning of the year. Company went to "specialized roles" where one rep took care of one specific area. Seems great but was frustrating when multiple lines of opportunities arise from one customer. Had to rely on others rather than handling it yourself. Also very micromanaging with tracking mileage, proposal activity and pipeline even though they have CRM to see everything that is going on. Very hands on which is fine but to a certain extent. Even if you sell enough to hit your quota they still expect more. Expect a lot from you and left some open promises over the years.

Pros

Potential to make high commissions.

Cons

Poorly structured. The region has eliminated multiple valued Local positions, or chose to not fill open ones, and created more regional chiefs to micro manage from a higher level. The flavor of the month is real, with new policies, new meetings, and new structure constantly forming and dissolving. This is NOT a sales job, due to the hundreds of customers that you “manage,” there’s little time to build real relationships. The amount of extra tasks along with overloaded reps require 99% of your time to be behind the computer screen. Although the potential to make good money is there, as long as the IC structures don’t change (again).
