Pros
Safety minded company, great margin for contracts, good job security. Plenty of time outside the office.
Cons
Union Labor goes against the grain at times, makes twice the pay as management and can be difficult to lead. Zero quality in this business, all quantity. Constantly chasing your tail, no pro-activeness in maintenance and repair, very reactive. Some customers can be very difficult because of this. Company relies on lower level management to carry the entire weight of sometimes unmanageable contracts.
