Pros
A big multinational and multilocational team of developers with experience in many different technologies. There are a lot of interesting projects in the company and it gives you the opportunity to easily move from one team to another. It's a good environment to be introduced to many technologies, good practices, projects operating on different scalability levels and it could be really dynamic or more sedentary environment, so I think everybody can find their place there. There is a small conference and training budget per team, which if you are wise, you would use. And there is some balance between freedom to use any new technology and standardization. Annual salary indexations.
Cons
My personal experience is that in Ocado there were a lot of organizational meetings and processes sometimes taking too much of my time as a developer. Additionally, when you a person is a part of a big team it might be hard to convince the dinosaurs in the team to introduce changes. Although the company does not support a concurrent working environment it naturally can become such if it's hiring such type of ppl so one shouldn't rely on the culture the company preaches. So one might need to be a vocal one, a more extrovert type of person, and definitely, the speaking up type sometimes (depending on the team and the TL) if they want to quickly progress. Opportunistic career approaches seem to be rewarded. Try to negotiate max salary on hiring and do not expect crazy salary reviews afterward even when there is a strong case for out-of-standard ranges pay reviews.
