Pros

I loved being a front end supervisor. I loved solving problems and helping the cashiers. It would make the customers happy and satisfied when I came quickly to the register and solved the problem 1-2-3 with a positive attitude the customers and cashiers loved me and my energy. They also sent me for training. The sent me to the RI store fully paid training. That was a great experience with such a talented smart professional staff.

Cons

The girl who ran the cash office (sry I forgot the title of her position) She bad mouthed everyone. Talked down to me and many employees. I know 100% she messed with my employee # on the Kronos machine. She had marked me as late way to many times. They fired me for being late. I felt it was so unfair. She was already fired when they let me go. I know I wasn't late for my shifts as much as they said. That cash office girl did me in.

Pros

Good management pay to start, free condo use, vacation at 6 months (will be needed), 2 weeks after a year. No overnight work or stocking.

Cons

No one really wants to work for the company, hard to hire people. Part timers not allowed more than 29 hours. Not enough associates. No work life balance. Never 2 days off in a row. Very dirty and dishoveled work environment. Bathrooms are disgusting and smelly. 6 day work week from thanksgiving to end of January, didn't sound too bad but it takes the life out of you in a hurry.

Pros

During Paul's tenure, the company exhibited a stronger emphasis on fostering a collaborative work environment, where employees were united in their pursuit of shared business objectives.

Cons

The implementation of the "backroom of the future" has brought in new fixtures and reduced the amount of freight after the reset, giving the appearance of everything being under control. However, now we are expected to be prepared to receive a truck every day of the week without additional budget.Additionally, we are required to wait to enter the building 10 minutes before opening, solely based on Mark's decision. During these 10 minutes, we have to manage various tasks, including getting all the tills out, performing opening procedures, handling maintenance, and ensuring the store is safe. We have asked to come in at least an hour early even if it is just the salary managers whose hours don't affect the budget, but we are still not allowed to come in early to perform opening procedures or catch up on freight . With the "backroom of the future," everyone, including managers, is expected to handle freight all day without a break. While managing task that come down from corporate because we are no longer trusted to make decisions at store level Furthermore, managers are required to know how many endcaps are in the building and recite the pillars of the company in the exact order they want, under the threat of failure if they don't comply. Managers are paid the lowest wages, despite being the ones dealing with all the changes and the employees, who no longer seem to care. The working hours are constantly changing, and employees as well as managers are expected to simply accept it. In addition, we are expected to listen to company broadcasts extolling the reasons why we should feel fortunate, despite the lack of work-life balance, simply because other retailers are closing down. To make matters worse, there are upcoming changes in employee positions and AI-generated scheduling, which has left tenured employees feeling targeted.
