Pros

Company paid health care Growing company Family owned

Cons

Upper managment does not meet together to decide on how things should be done. You will get one person that comes into the store and tell you to do something one way, then the next day you get a different person come in and yell at you for doing it that way. The company in general is micro managed like crazy the store manager has very little power and are basicly just a glorifed stocker. Home office changes policy constantly to fit themselfs. As for holiday pay you will hardly ever see it. They only pay for a couple of holidays and you have to work 5 out of the last 7 of what ever day it falls on. So if the holiday falls on a friday and you have only worked 4 out of the last 7 fridays you will not get holiday pay.

Pros

Not many Pros working for this company other than paid health insurance if you are an exempt/salaried employee.

Cons

Too many to name. A very "us vs. them" mentality portrayed from the corporate offices and company officials toward the workers in the stores. The work environment is very negative and that comes right from the owners and trickles down to the stores. The work schedule for management is supposed to be 50 hours a week, but you can be told you must work your day off without much notice. Most warehouses in a company support the stores,in this company the stores are at the mercy of the warehouse..constant deliveries of merchandise allocated by the buyers of the company jam the stores stockrooms and make working smartly and efficiently impossible. The owners and upper management constantly talk down to store management and employees.
