Pros

Excellent staff of physicians, nurses and support personnel. Patient care is excellent. Surgical staff and recovery excellent. State of the art equipment and techniques. Great to be a patient there.

Cons

Not great to be an employee other than top surgeons and specialists. Ruthless, mid-management climbing corporate ladder at everyone else's expense. New management, new rules. Everything constantly changing, special rules for special people connected to Ochsner Higher Management. Same position, different title in different department has different pay scale. Newer employees get paid more in same position than older more experienced employees.
