Okta is a pioneering identity solutions provider, specialising in Workforce and Identity access management solutions. It's a great company to work for.

Cons

Culture can improve a bit, but I have no complaints. No company is perfect

Horrible leadership. Excecutive leadership kept leaving. No vision. Favortism.

Pros

If you are lucky to be placed in a great team, your colleagues will be happy to assist. Management tries to be as transparent as possible.

Cons

The customers make it difficult to enjoy supporting them because they continue to have unrealistic expectations, which seem to be encouraged by their AEs/CSMs. Engineering is VERY slow on developing fixes, which puts you in the line of fire with customer complaints for broken components. It feels like you are rewarded for being a good Support Engineer by not being promoted out of Support if that's the desire.
