      Supportive coworkers + Still trying to find direction as a company

      Pros

      Enjoy working with my coworkers and my manager is the most supportive and protective manager I've ever had in my life. She makes everything better and worth it. Work life balance is also appreciated and encouraged. Easy-going atmosphere to work in, remote or not.

      Cons

      CEO is kind of lost. Company direction is chaotic. Benefit is so so, not competative. Upper management really don't know how to execute strategies. Product team works hard but there are still a lot of simple things that could have been done already but haven't been. Opportunity for advancement not great at all. They love to bring in outside people with their old friends tagged along. Also not a very diverse management team. Very white.

      Pros

      Okta has a great product that customers love! No doubt about that. Great and authentic CEO. Pay and benefits are overall ok and within industry standards, but be aware there is massive tightening on this front.

      Cons

      Exec Turnover is massive (CMO, CRO, President, General Counsel) and it's hard to ignore. Talent overall is average. The Auth0 acquisition, by all accounts, was a big miss. Culture is getting worse by the day.

      - WLB is dreadful - Leadership has lost its way a bit - Transparency, a key virtue, isn’t practiced as much as it’s preached
