Pros

Upper management is genuine with their care about you. Above O.M positions. I'd say 75% of supervisors and Operations Managers on the floor do care about you. The others are so obviously checked out. Great pay Great benefits Overtime is hit and miss. When it's peak season, it's crazy. If you genuinely work hard, keep a good attitude, and show interest in going from a dock worker to a driver, it's possible!!

Cons

If you speak out, your head is on the chopping block. Most members of overnight management were clearly doing drugs of some sort. Highshool game of telephone but with adults. Share something with 1 person and it becomes twisted as they share that with everyone who will listen. Soon you have rumors floating around and anyone who speaks up for you, is targeted or outcast. If you're passed up for a promotion of any kind, no matter what they say to you, they're not interested. Find another job and don't tell them, just give your 2 weeks and leave. If you tell them you have another job lined up, they'll likely fire you because then you can't file for unemployment. It's been done repatedly. There are weeks where you're required to do Overtime, and it can mean 6 days of 12 hour shifts. Then, it'll be a few weeks of working 6 hours for 5 days a week. Favoritism is obvious here and when the female O.M. was working the board, she was giving her partner dock-worker easy bills so he could go out and move trailers. To put bluntly, she was padding his numbers. She would also call him to tell him about moves before hand, making his trailer moves padded as well. How this was overlooked is beyond anyone who noticed. The female O.M. creates a hostile environment if she dislikes you.
