Pros

If you enter in the office side, you're essentially collecting a free check. At one point, there were more white collars on the floor than actual workers who do the job.

Cons

If you operate a line, you will be ignored when you have a concern and blamed when it becomes an issue. Scratches, chips, and deformities in the glass were ignored or covered up in hopes to sell it to customers. Glass from Houston is better and have been rightfully taking business away from this location. If you show leadership values, expect leadership and supervisor responsibilities but never the pay. After seeing multiple people do the job only to be set aside for an outside hire, you learn quickly that going above and beyond gets you nothing. You get paid the same hourly if you do 20 or 40 units.

Pros

I liked my supervisor a lot and John Graham was great. It was nice to be part of a big company but there weren't many pros per se. I was able to make relationships with everyone in the glass business so that was helpful.

Cons

It was so busy that it takes a toll on your mental health. Back then (pre-covid) raises were small, no holiday party, and a revolving door of unhappy people in the CSR area. Customers are always mad due to the number or mistakes made. Great learning experience but generally overly corporate and nothing about it was fun or rewarding.
