      great people, interesting work, brutal project manager

      Pros

      The people are the best I've ever worked with. Very sharp and down to earth. Also lots of opportunities to work overseas, especially if you want to be in the Middle East. Compensation was pretty good as well. From what I saw, OW paid more than Mckinsey, Bain or BCG at the Associate level.

      Cons

      Work life balance was awful. Most principals and directors were good to work with, but I was in the unfortunate situation of working with a project manager who was notorious for burning out people who work for him. A lot of people left because of him.

      compensation is best in class in my opinion, the work culture is very relaxed and there is a large extent of knowledge sharing in the firm

      Cons

      brand name recognition is a BIG issue especially outside of FS circles.

      Where the subpar elitists go to work

      Pros

      Happy hours on Friday afternoons; the firm is a social and generally young place to work. The hours are relatively easy.

      Cons

      No real exposure for junior consultants. The client list looks impressive but the work being done for the big clients is small/meaningless compared to what Bain/McKinsey are doing. Projects generally aren't for the C-Suite executives, but rather some project manager in Virginia who needs help on a new project.
