      Pros

      1. Post pandemic, remote work is now the norm. So if you prefer working from home or some exotic location, this place is for you. 2. Sometimes the company jumps on the bay area bandwagon and implements things like 'summer slow down' or 'DashPass'. The perks make the job marginally more palatable. 3. If you're on the 'it list' you'll get taken on day hikes to 'bond' with the wider org or you may be given a retention bonus so you won't leave. (Con if you're not on this exclusive list).

      Cons

      1. The new leadership team is a brutal mix of uncaring, unfeeling dictators. It's their way or the high way. 2. It doesn't matter how hard you work, you'll never get promoted or given a salary increase beyond 2.5%. Even with outstanding performance reviews. 3. If you're unhappy there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. Your manager doesn't care about your happiness - only the bottom line. And their manager reinforces that. 4. Men and women are treated differently - from salary and equity distributions (a male counterpart has shared that he was given far more options than the females in the same role) to on-the-job treatment/perks. 5. This company went from being "too nice" (so they say) to a place where manners and common decency no longer exist.

      Thanks for your candid comments here, and sorry about your experience at Omada. As a co-founder, one of my greatest sources of pride (and occasional anxiety!) is our employee experience. Specific to your comment about comp disparities: we regularly audit to ensure we are consistent. If we have made mistakes I would love to hear about them and fix the issues ASAP.
