Pros

Company stated goal of capping earnings at 15% to reinvest any excess in R&D is welcome for those of us that came from the McKesson side of the acquisition. The management within Omnicell is much more bottom line oriented. The management from Omnicell is more focused on executing and has greater accountability than there was prior to the acquisition. ESPP plan is very solid

Cons

401 matching is limited Work life balance is extremely difficult for managers.

Company has many experienced Field Service Engineers that go over and beyond to help each other and service equipment. A+ Solid Team Support towards each other.

Cons

No company vehicles for field service engineers No weekend on-call pay No week day on-call coverage pay Very little input from service team with new equipment roll-outs The TSE team contributes tremendously to the company profit line (Reward Them!)

Pros

People who care about their work; niche products that are leaders in their specialties.

Cons

Extremely difficult to get promoted unless you are politically oriented; regular (but not always successful) reorganizations of marketing structure.
