I've been with Omnicell for a while now, and I must say that the organization is truly evolving in a positive direction. Over the past two years, there has been a noticeable shift towards more inclusive and strategic initiatives that genuinely consider the input and involvement of employees across all levels of the organization. This isn't just lip service—our leadership actively engages with teams and incorporates their insights into the company's strategic goals. One of the standout aspects of this evolution is the "Elevate" model, which is squarely focused on employee development. This model isn’t just about climbing the corporate ladder; it’s about fostering holistic growth, enhancing skills, and preparing employees for the future, personally and professionally. Pros

The flexibility and work life balance is a great addition to the job. I have enjoyed working here not only because of the product and what Omnicell offers, but because the people are easy to be around. Coworkers are helpful, and understanding- easily one of the better companies that allows you to work independent and gives you freedom to express your ideas and feedback. Given the economical shift the last couple of years, there have been some lay offs as well as slow downs in hiring. Omnicell seems to be aware of this and has tried hard to provide employees that are impacted with tools and financial means to stay on their feet. I really enjoy the open environment and direct feedback given by my manager.

Cons

a lot of training that is assigned for elearning is time intensive and assigned quarterly. It would be nice to minimize some of the required online training. Also, keeping up with the rising costs of life and trying to offer employees more incentives, bonuses, or increases in pay would be wonderful- although sometimes tough to achieve.

Cons

- Several layoffs and departures from senior leadership on down. - Aggravation caused by the degree of exploitation falsely claiming credit for others' work and the amount of self-importance demonstrated by individuals due to insecurity and self-interests.
