Pros

Ample opportunity to move up and transfer to another branch, great life benefits, I learned a ton about being financially responsible and the Inter workings of the house, auto, and credit card industry. The branch staff are typically very familial and can make great friends.

Cons

The pay is below standard, upper management is the quintessential corporate issues - mostly conservative older white men with one or two women, give your life to the corporation, DEI is a buzzword to them more than actions, don’t like remote work. The upper management is all old Bank of America people, so the bottom line is their main concern. There’s a lot of sketchy things they do not on purpose but out of ignorance.

Thank you for your feedback. OnPoint seeks to provide a total compensation package that includes many benefits and perks, including competitive base pay. It’s true that on-site work is an important part of OnPoint’s go-forward plan supporting our culture and collaboration. We also recognize a critical need for continued flexibility and remote work. Inclusiveness is an essential element of our brand in the markets we serve, and our strength and success depend on building and sustaining relationships throughout the community. It is vital that we are intentional in our future actions to support DEI both inside and outside our organization. For our DEI efforts to truly be successful we need all our employees to feel connected and engaged with the work to move it forward. We are committed to continuing in our learning, increasing our impact, and developing programs, systems, and products to support the OnPoint community today and in the future. If you have any concerns, we encourage you to speak with your manager or HR.
