Pros

There aren't any pros. The pay is terrible for the job you're expected to do. There is no quality assurance and no one cares to ensure good work is being produced.

Cons

There is little to no opportunities for a raise or promotion. Management barely knows anything about the department they're over nor do they care to become more educated in policies or procedures. Hipaa is treated like a joke.

Pros

Stable work schedule and decent pay. Standard benefits and PTO. If you're an actual professional used to a call center environment, you should be able to see these negative reviews for what they are. There is no chaos occurring because of mergers. There is change, but if you can't roll with it, you're just going to be miserable. While not all members of leadership are amazing, the vast majority are and they foster and encourage their employees. There IS a promotion system in place, but you actually have to do the work to get promoted. You can't just do the bare minimum and expect to get promoted or get a raise. You have to put in the extra effort. Also, there is no new work from home option at this time. That door shut a long time ago and they aren't letting anyone else do it other than the ones who were lucky enough to get out of the door the first few rounds.

Cons

The only con I have is that the downtown office location is unpleasant to try and get in and out of on a daily basis. They're about to do a big ribbon cutting ceremony to "inaugurate" OneCall taking over the building after another company left. We would have been better off buying a building somewhere else or building one from scratch rather than stay in this overpriced monstrosity simply for the "client appeal". It should have said something when a company as large as Aetna leaves a building for greener pastures.
