Pros

- Fair base salary compensation for all locations in NYC, Austin, Menlo Park - Decent offices, prime locations, newly renovated - Good healthcare benefits, wellness perks, reimbursable utilities - Some intelligent colleagues - Great effort on image of diversity and inclusion

Cons

- No sign on bonus, no annual bonus, minuet holiday bonus - High employee turnover rate, typical retention 1 year - Leveling is based on popularity and promotions not on merit - Trial and error of reorganization of teams every 3 months - Poor communication, no transparency - Don't question or challenge leadership, or you may be terminated - Resignations/terminations at an abnormal rate for a startup in this stage across ALL divisions

misled w/ poor transparency

Pros

-nice brand -diversity, company does good job relative to tech -some well-intentioned and hard-working employees -decent salary + benefits

Cons

-insurance premiums too high. equity packages small -low performance bar and nepotism; good place to collect paycheck. overall results missing. you have to be very lazy or egregious to get fired, and even then odds are you still might get a year of free runway (might be a pro for some) -not challenging at all. challengers/performers quit or get fired, followers stick around and little changes. things move very slowly. -lackluster leadership scapegoats and operates behind closed doors, surprising they weren't fired with their results -idk if this is tech company, more like nyc brand agency. entire co and vision is brand. misleading company updates don't make sense beneath surface -awful transparency. people hide bad information & paint rosy picture. not convinced investors and employees get true picture of the company -appears mgmt consistently puts resources into losing teams with little understanding why. might come down to popularity contest its so clumsy
