Pros

Great people, Sears tower is nice.

Cons

This company is very much all over the place. You’ll get trained to say certain things, then a week later you’ll be trained that everything you’ve been told specifically to do, is actually not allowed. Major changes to how the job is operated on an almost daily basis. Also, the pay is just disrespectful for the amount of work you are required to do. $20/hr, and your “commission” comes only if your sale “sticks” for two months. And these clients get called hundreds of times a day by another agent just like you, selling them on a different plan for the exact same reasons. And since these are all people who are 65+, with both diagnosed and undiagnosed memory loss, you’re going to be constantly fighting moral battles. Also, the way this company sells is completely immoral. They sell with fear, empty promises, and aggression. So much so, that they’ve lost partnership with a MAJOR carrier, thus why operations are constantly switching from one extreme to another. The other reviews have not told a single lie, you literally are hounded to continuously take calls. You need to status yourself to “personal” time to use the restroom, and you can only use 15 minutes during the morning hours & afternoon hours respectively. If you go over, depending on your manager, most likely you’ll get told that you can’t use any more for the rest of the day. Also, you need to status yourself in “follow up work” to complete the notes on the call after it ends. You are expected to be in that status for no more than 2 minutes, if you go over, managers that aren’t even your manager will start messaging you to “hop in there please”. Truthfully, this place treats you like a high schooler. Not only that, but you’re making an unlivable wage, higher ups are constantly going to try to get in the way of your bonuses, and you’re going to be micromanaged to insanity. I’m genuinely traumatized from this place, I have a REAL corporate job now and I had quite the learning curve since this place was so unorganized. If you’re thinking, “maybe I’ll work here for a little bit just to get some sales experience under my belt” Please listen to me, and tons of these other reviews when we say, IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

Pros

Good work life balance, and working in Willis Tower is cool.

Cons

Probably the most horrible management I have ever experienced. The program managers (above the managers) try to get you to scam people and then you get in trouble if you do. They are not good people. The job is supposed to be helping people get better coverage, but because the program managers only care about money, they push you to scam people.

Pros

Meeting new friends , Experiencing free work events .

Cons

Terrible Management .. They train you to scam old people out of their Health Insurance & Will punish you if you think otherwise. They say you will receive a BONUS but they take 2 months to give it to you because they try to keep as much of your bonus for the company . You don’t get PTO OR SICK TIME . Most of the managers on the floor are drug addicts .. so you are being managed by people who cant even manage themselves. HR is terrible , they take months to get back to you about serious issues in the company . I would not recommend anyone work here , not even if it’s YOUR LAST OPTION .
