Pros

Full time Benefits within the next month from starting Get to work with some great people

Cons

Training sucks. Bonus potential but if the building fails collections, you lose most of your bonus potential. This robs you of your hard work. Some Vet members can feel intimidated by new employees trying to move up. The title is loan specialist but most of your day will be collections. Big drive to meet goals regardless of the state of the country's economy.

We are disappointed to hear you had a less than positive experience with OneMain. Collection duties are part of the primary duties for individuals including branch and call center staff members. It is important that OneMain protects its loan portfolio and collects on accounts that have become delinquent. We strive to work with our customers to try and find an option that meets the needs of all parties. - ck

Pros

The training program is good. Incentive bonuses to start are good full benefits vacation sick days/personal days

Cons

Bonus opportunities are highly dependent on market conditions. So, if the economy is suffering a high inflationary cycle, as was occurring in 2022, do not expect bonuses. The company will adjust the metrics so that bonuses will not be earned even if you close a large amount of loans for the company. Maybe that's the game you play in financial services, but that is not going to fly if you produce and expect to make commissions for your production. The company is committed to toxic DEI initiatives
