      Boring Place to work. Training Sucks. Pay Sucks. Health Care Benefits are SUPER expensive!

      Pros

      It's a job, with benefits, and vacation pay.

      Cons

      Boring work. The worse training I've ever had. No training Manuals. Intranet sucks, can't find policies and procedures easily. Application taking process "CLASS" software feels like was build for Windows 95. Lastly, AGFS is one of the cheapest companies I've ever worked for. It's obvious that they penny pinch. No money spent on training & employee development. If your manager is not a good teacher your screwed.

      Pros

      This branch was a busy branch with many customers. Always had leads for new loan business. Also, branch manager was great to work with.

      Cons

      Company was going through a struggle when I worked there. Had limited loans available for customers. Also company kept changes the requirements to make goals and sometimes the requirements would make it impossible to reach a bonus. An example would be our delinquency accounts. Due to the economy, many times these were not resolved so that you could make a bonus.

      * good pay * good benefits *ability to move up (in previous years)

      Cons

      *hours *management extremely poor...my former DM claims "its all in who you know" *being sold...as if the job wasnt stressful enough *must be licensed as a mortgage originator. we have not booked a mtg in a year. *training *unrealistic goals...we are really doing a good job with what we have to work with *potential to be laid off at any given time *ethical concerns surrounding employees/managers *voe- our opinion doesnt matter. Just stop making us take this questionaire and then working on resolutions. This is a corporation, there is no solution.
