Pros

* good pay * good benefits *ability to move up (in previous years)

Cons

*hours *management extremely poor...my former DM claims "its all in who you know" *being sold...as if the job wasnt stressful enough *must be licensed as a mortgage originator. we have not booked a mtg in a year. *training *unrealistic goals...we are really doing a good job with what we have to work with *potential to be laid off at any given time *ethical concerns surrounding employees/managers *voe- our opinion doesnt matter. Just stop making us take this questionaire and then working on resolutions. This is a corporation, there is no solution.

Pros

The benefits at AGF are really good. Also, working in a branch network is the best way to stay connected with your customers. AGF pays for licensing including notary, life insurance agent, and the new mortgage licensing. They offer plenty of paid time off. Also, the base pay is good, and getting weekly paychecks is definitely nice.

Cons

Collecting gets old, but it's a necessary part of the business. Also, it is very difficult to hit your goals, because they cut down every loan you send up. I think once the market improves, goals will probably be easier to hit. The bonuses are a joke, even if you hit your goals.

Pros

Never a dull day. The customers are wacky but overall very nice. We do a lot of collections and I like that the company offers us a variety of curing tools.

Cons

Even though it is a subprime lending company home office has lightened up the standards so much it is almost impossible to get loans approved. The bonus structure needs to be changed. Even if you hit your personal production goal you wont get a bonus if your branch doesnt hit its collection goals.
