Pros

You get a three day weekend

Cons

For your own health and safety, please do not work at any Onepeak clinic. There are systemic issues here. Customer (and even employees) are often incorrectly billed. It seems purposeful. I've seen the system double charge for procedures already paid for and the answer from billing is "it does that sometimes." Their favorite phrase is "erroneous system error." The system is never addressed or fixed- they just hope you won't notice. We also had a trainer from another clinic came to lake Oswego, but just ended up saying really blatant, old-school racial slurs directly at the front desk/lobby. I reported it with two other employees and upper management did nothing. Zero accountability or consequences for the racism. I later found out the nutritionist was also laughing at the racial slurs, and another provider excused it because she too has "accidentally" said a racial slur before. HR told me they weren't going to report them because it had already been "Delt with." It was never dealt with though. Instead, I was bullied as a consequence. For example, I bought soda for the whole office to share, and my colleague wrote "obesity, Alzheimer's, and CAD (Coronary artery disease) on the soda box for everyone to see. I was humiliated and the bullying never stopped. They triggered my eating disorder due to the harassment. My health was impacted. I went to report it and was told HR were not looking into it. Hr said there were "too many issues" occuring to address them. I was floored. I expressed concern that they wouldn't address it. I was then fired when I said they still need to address issues even if there are a lot of them. I'm now working with a lawyer to sue. I have never experienced such blatant racism and harassment at work in my life. Please run. It's all of upper management, not just one clinic. They also didn't require I have a genuine BLS certification once they promoted me to medical assistant. They also tried to have us sell expired/past date vitamins. The response from upper management was this: "It's essential to understand that this product does not have an expiration date. Furthermore, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) does not require expiration dating for dietary supplements." That's from their quality control department. I was told onepeak makes the vitamins themselves. However, when I mentioned the wiped off expiration dates, upper management suddenly said we only make the labels and not the vitamins themselves. I asked for a letter from the "Actual" manufacturer explaining why it's okay to still consume the vitamins, but upper management never provided the letter. Be careful. If you work here, expect only irate I'll people who have legitimate reasons to be mad at onepeak. You also only get 30 minutes to eat lunch and good luck getting those two "ten minute" breaks. Turnover is crazy too.
