Pros
The owners at Onyx Point have open door policies. They expect that you approach them with issues, concerns, or needs, and they respond to those promptly. You can expect to have voice and influence appropriate with a small, growing company if you take the time to provide detailed feedback. Telework is supported if allowable by contract. Compensation is fair and bonuses are awarded to employees. Joshua especially is a thorough communicator who leaves no detail out for potential misinterpretation. I really appreciate that clarity. OP has an active Women in Technology presence. OP is fair, which is my favorite thing, and possibly a biproduct of having four owners to ruminate over decisions-- the result of which are policies with general appeal and fairness. Even in this fairness, we can find passion. The company is passionate about FOSS and financially supported a National FOSS Month for ALL open source projects to use the marketing platform. This showed their goodwill as well as their belief in their mission.
Cons
No job is perfect. Where things have not been perfect, I have felt supported in voicing concerns which were addressed. There are no females who hold traditional leadership roles. It can't fairly be identified as a con, but is important to note for anyone looking for female mentorship/influence in a company culture.
