There is a lot of restructuring going on, which results in constantly looking over your shoulder for if your role is changing or being eliminated. Promotions are based on favoritism and there is a lack of growth opportunities. There are lots of half baked ideas and thoughts which leads to limbo when it comes to projects and restructuring.

Since Kayak took over, the company has no meaningful purpose anymore. No company culture whatsoever, unless you count loving money and making more money for the company. This is capitalism after all, but when there is no meaning behind the work, it's hard to stay motivated for long. Competition is only going to grow unless they can pivot into another way to make money. Depending on the team, work can be very fast-paced and stress can be high. Everything is a priority, nothing can wait. Expectations are high, but compensation does not match.
