Pros

There used to be more here, but currently the only upside I see is flexibility in terms of getting to the office and leaving the office.

Cons

The main disadvantage in my case is the chaotic way the product is being managed, the gatekeeping that some tenured engineers do to parts of product, the endless number meetings that start with let's have a meeting to discuss x issue and that end without a conclusion. It used to be a place where you were encouraged to come up with new approaches and ideas, but currently it is better to bow your head and move along. Don't disturb the calm of the team.

Pros

you can learn top notch low level politics and how to micromanage good people and destroy potential. Some experienced incompetent folks who were there in company for 15+years roam whole day at others' desk and get managers' trust due to favoritism.

Cons

Extreme low level politics-huge favoritism to only local regional people group from TN, Andhra,Telengana,Karnataka and clear bias against engineers from non-southern states. Promotion and substantial hikes given only to puppets saying yes to everything and belonging to local regional communities. Top level micromanagement in almost everything, most managers lack technical depth or maturity and surviving on favoritism. Documentum product leadership is as clueless as noobs and waiting to retire from this company.Layoff happens every few months with/without anouncing. Product has no new customer base growing and leadership says that's the strategy of business. Employees are being put into PIP and being forced to resign or being exploited to toxic politics and mental torture, so good people are leaving voluntarily.Hiring too much interns as they want senior folks to layoff more often. Frequent firing, blame game is top notch by managers. Engineers who got promotion previous are being put into PIP as product is in stage of sinking.People should be very cautious while joining this company
