Pros

Great manager and good pay for what we do. The job isnt too stressful and it is a pretty laid back environment.

Cons

They need to stop acquiring new companies and focus on the ones they have already acquired and integrate them better to form a unified company. It feels a bit sectioned at times.

Pros

Fairly good benefits, some managers are attentive, interesting work. Long term employees can advance upwards although there are limits based on years of service/experience.

Cons

Pay was towards the lower end of similar companies. Satellite offices tended to be dreary with low morale and constant downsizing. The company only seems to be capable of growth or developing new products through acquisition.

Pros

OpenText has great benefits, and it is a good company when you don't wanna challenges and get retired.

Cons

There's no career plan in opentext, specially in sao paulo. You will be stuck at the same position, same salary and no challenges. Some directors can be compare to a "pamper child" and they do gossips and try to take down other employees, most of the time for personal interests. They are not professionals. No sales plans, no close contatcs with managers abroad, unless if they come to sao paulo office. It seems opentext brazil office has been forgetten from OpenText.
