Pros

The team of people I worked with.

Cons

Everything. This company is so toxic. I have PTSD from working there. We were worked to the bone. Upper management doesn't care about problems that are brought forth. When people quit, we are told to absorb their territories. When new ppl are hired, we are tasked with training them and onboarding them. They used to have a nice training program but got rid of it and the training team doesn't do anything but off load their work onto others. We were asked to wear way too many hats. I was working 12 hrs a day and on the weekends but nothing was ever good enough. Constant pressure to work in the field even when it didn't make sense. If there were no pts to see we were told to work from the lobby which was a HIPAA violation as everyone around me could see my patient list on my computer and hear me taking on the phone. There is too much pressure on numbers and zero support or help. No one held accountable for service failures either. Please seriously consider being a CTS. You will lose yourself and your life to the job.

Pros

work/life balance, very autonomous, pay isn't terrible, co-workers are great if you have a good team

Cons

Upper management isn't clinical and do not understand healthcare policies/procedures. Merit raises based on numbers and not work ethic. Very competitive, instead of working together it's who is in the lead. Toxic work culture. As clinician it is inappropriate to go to upper management with clinical issues. Upper management will ask what works/not. They always have an answer ready, don't really listen to the problem.
