Pros

I am very surprised how people are willing to help out when asked. Everyone seems to be focused on making the company succeed and It is very refreshing to work in an organization where everyone is is moving the same direction. I could not be happier with my decision.

Cons

Joining the company while all the back office systems are being changed due to the Fishnet/Accuvant merger has been a bit of a challenge, but I have been involved in M/A activities at other companies that have been far worse. The dust will settle and all will be well.

Pros

Being the "new guy" you never quite know what to expect but what has stood out to me is that everyone really loves working here. With the merger it's a great feeling to know you work for the largest information security company in the U.S. and it's still growing rapidly which translates to new growth opportunity for employees and advancement within the company. Leadership is great and gives a clear direction for the future of Optiv.

Cons

I came on several months after the merger and all the challenges it created so speaking from just being an Optiv employee and not a previous Fishnet or Accuvant I don't see any cons to date. .

Pros

Friendly people and good being a part of a team. Great salary with bonus opportunities. Great travel and work from home opportunities.

Cons

Benefits are nice, but pricey. Also 401k matching is nice but not as much as others. You work alone a lot
