Extremely Sharp Colleagues, Teamwork, Performance-based growth, Transparent & Fair Compensation, No Hierarchy, Cultural Diversity - senior management team of 10 has 7 different nationalities!, Competitive, #1 in most products else in top 3, Strong Development Team

Cons

Extreme focus on Compliance & Risk sometimes slow things down, Continuous shortage of people occasionally causes work overload, No focus on Branding - no one has heard of Optiver.

Flat organization. Ability to trade quite quickly and given a lot of freedom to pursue strategies. Good salary and bonus. Consistently profitable.

Cons

There was some politics as company grew and it seemed to be an advantage to be Dutch. There were some overall growing pains with the company that made an old-timer long for the smaller past.

When HR mgmt is on record stating things like the company shouldn’t hire females anymore, it really makes you wonder how they make decisions on who should fill management positions
