      * Good food * Good perks * Interesting work * Good remuneration

      Cons

      * Management standards have slipped over the years * Poor review system with no recourse process. * Too much reliance on promoting senior traders to corporate senior management when they clearly aren't qualified or suitable. * You will know when your time is up at the company. Assessment score will reflect. * Unless it impacts the bottom line or has reputational/compliance risk - reports/assessments will only be paid lip service to.

      Lot of free benefits, bonuses

      Cons

      If you are not a trader, HR or a sycophant then this isnt the place for you.Work life balance sucks, Hypocrisy at its best as its definitely not a great place to work due to arrogant nature of the people.No structured policies so if you are great at your work but your boss isn’t happy with you (for other reasons) then you can’t survive.

      Money is good vs most jobs. Interesting problems to work on.

      Cons

      Work life balance is not good, if that's important to you try IMC instead. Every 6 months you have to argue/defend why you deserve to be paid. The verdict can be poor performance even if you are making the company record amounts of money. If pay is important to you probably better to go to Citadel. Optiver makes a lot of money but 2/3 of it goes to shareholders. After that most goes to managers, and the company has been progressively top heavy recently.
