Pros

Plenty of perks; breakfast, lunch, massages, gym membership and fun events. Some of the problems are interesting, but are generally not unique. Great gateway into other companies in the industry, and generally considered to be one of the best at what they do. Company outlook is generally pretty bright and the way it works is improving every day.

Cons

Not truly meritocratic. Performance review methodology is outdated and up to the interpretation of direct managers who operate with opaque goals and motives. Outside of trading and most of development the level of talent is pretty average, so the actual work can sometimes feel like being at a big old enterprise rather than a cool fun startup. There are rusted on staff that are unlikely to leave given the exceptional remuneration.

Pros

-Onsite Barista -Free lunch and Breakfast -Annual trips (they are getting worse and will probably go soon) - Good bonuses but need to earn them - Open communication, and people are happy to help you learn areas you're not familiar with.

Cons

- Toxic leadership , very political. - Too many middle managers - Outdated review system that forces staff to give bad feedback to make themselves look good when calibrated against others - Worklife balance is punished, so much so that people send out scheduled meals late at night and on weekends to look like they work long hours. I'm not joking. - Company has too many middle managers putting in process after process that is slowing down progress. - Started to tighten the purse strings and have become cheap, one of their main pros was all the perks but they're slowly going away - Team leads and management are greedy. Every thought and action is aimed at their next review and promotion and what the marble value is. It's all about the $$$.

Pros

Smart people, amazing food, surprisingly good WLB.

Cons

Rapidly deteriorating talent, a culture of arrogance and political infighting amongst middle management. Same work being duplicated by 3 teams. Pay incentives declining and marbles being phased out for new hires.
