Pros

Choose your own schedule, supportive supervisors, fair job of newly licensed

Cons

Corporate culture with constant changes, little communication between colleagues other than mass emails which were sent in scattered sequences. Practice was originally a small group and sold to Refresh/Optum . EMR is catered towards medical professionals and diagnoses are not inclusive or up to date. Billing is beyond disorganized with a call number connected to people who have no idea what the clients are asking. Upkeep of buildings appear to be over-sought independently and are not cleaned regularly. Focus is on volume and productivity with little celebration of clinicians hard work, capacity or areas of speciality.

Pros

- Visits are free of charge to the patients. - Helping patients who it is often extremely difficult to get to the office. - Opportunity to help the most vulnerable of our population.

Cons

- Constantly being bought out/restructuring. - Difficult and often conflicting priorities. - Recently, setting bonus requirements at an unachievable level - Poor communication from people with actual power. - Suggestions and requests go unheard. - Terrible documentation system - Difficult to access outside medical records.

Pros

growth opportunities at the beginning of tenure

Cons

It appears employees after a certain age and salary are not valued, based on RIF culture. Culture is gross. Beholden to the Street, at the expense of the employees. Nepotism runs deep. Not pay for performance. Your experience will fully depend on your manager, who will likely hold you back to get ahead themselves.
