Pay is decent Really good amount of PTO Room for career growth

Cons

Wants to be a tech company, but still acts like an insurance company. Much of the management layer is UHC veterans with no real knowledge of tech, and it shows Company has grown by constant acquisition and is now a potpourri of healthcare-adjacent enterprises that have little to no synergy with each other Company makes too much money with the current state of healthcare and has no incentive to take big risks and “fix healthcare”

Many things I could share about the Optum company the most important one is Optum provide a good environment and fantastic opportunities to learn new skills. Also, work and personal life balance is good enough to work here.

Cons

Nothing much, except No opportunity to go onsite.
