Pros

As a big company, they can afford good benefits and small perks. Some of what we are doing is pretty cool - not directly because it's O, but just the nature of my position (distributed systems development)

Cons

Compensation (salary and bonus') are low-ish. Lots of bureaucracy that comes with a big company. So many levels of middle management that provide no value. Many of the "policies" only add overhead and paperwork.

Pros

The team that I worked in had great people and management. I can say work environment was one of the best of my industry experiences.

Cons

Learning experience is rather limited. Beside the company's core business (DB and Cloud...), there are not many learning opportunities. I had to study by myself for new skills.
