Pros

Can't think of any other than good work/life balance

Cons

Little to no innovation in-house, mostly acquire and squander is the metaphor (eg. Sun Microsystems). Trickle down economics does not exist here, all of the real money goes into the pockets at the top only. So the salary you hire with is likely your termination salary. Top level management has little to no respect for employees, they are just necessary overhead. Very low morale in general for employees (ref movie: Brazil).

Pros

This company is relentless about getting money from customers and actually making a profit.

Cons

For software developers, Oracle is a soul-sucking place that treats people like cogs in a machine.

Pros

Oracle is very good in doing business and i would say not much of job risk. Worklife is so balanced and scope of learning is also good

Cons

Yearly pay hikes are not upto market standards and oracle has a bad remark in market on that perspective
