Pros

Decent pay, flexibility to work from home in consulting team when on offshore projects (depending upon manager), international projects, valuable work experience

Cons

Very less frequent performance appraisal, zero to no talent recognition, low bonuses, no increments for years, lack of guidance, lack of transparency, very opaque organization, all these causing good performers to leave organization over time leaving only mediocre talented people who are happy with salary and slow growth

Pros

Work from Home for almost all types of projects, Good Environment and work culture Great Brand value and respect in other companies, clients

Cons

Sometimes there would be no work for days, months depending upon the project, at that time some people may get bored, some people choose to do some certifications etc. No pay hike every year, yearly pay hike sometimes happens but its not certain always.

Pros

I was able to stay in Seattle, and then in Portland, Oregon. This was important to me because my wife left me due to my infidelity- was the one cheating- so I wanted to stay close to my children Pay was about 40% lower than what I made in my next job

Cons

Constant pressure to shade things in a way that is not Professional Overselling to the customer of services and features they did not need- and do not need to still this Bad planning which was very destructive to personal work life balance
