Pros

Good comp plan. Can work from home or office.

Cons

Too many reps in each territory. Very complicated internal network. Lots of red tape to get deals done. High implementation costs. They don't make it easy for the customer to buy.

Pros

Did Presales SC work at Oracle for four years. Amazing people when I started, great place to build a network and meet people. Highly recommend for people EARLY in their careers looking for somewhere to learn and jump from. Field sales you get to work from home. Still has a good name, good place to leave and find another job from.

Cons

Expect to live on your base salary forever. Field sales numbers are terrible, dont ever expect a good bonus. Even when a good quarter happens, you get shafted on the bonus. Most of the best people have left, morale is horrible, and the products are really quite bad outside of core technology. You will be stuck reviewing SR's all the time because support is terrible, and you will get verbally beat up by dissatisfied customers that are making decisions to move off your tech. Your base will never increase, and your benefits will not be any good. Years of hard work and amazing production will be awarded with things like gift cards for amazon.com and a free dinner with your family, but no raises or bonuses. No innovation in the technology, more and more being outsourced to China and India, and for US more being done through interns/college hires. Management is not empowered to change the situation even though they know it.

Pros

Flexible work environment & schedule. Telecommuting and working remote. Excellent benefits.

Cons

Lack of communication, vision and mission by leadership. Constant management and organizational change. Lots of policy and procedures, can prolong interview process, internal processes, etc.
