Pros

The pay is decent and they offer commission if you are in a sales environment. The company is huge so you can potentially stay and the company and progress. It is a virtual company so lots of opportunities to telecommute and most teams are virtual.

Cons

Oracle does not give raises. You are left to sink or swim. No live person help hardly...everything is self-service. Easy to get lost. Too much information...information overload...emails are not specific to your position or your pillar...so consequently you get every newsletter, etc...

Pros

Oracle pays very well and you always have name recognition.

Cons

The company is stuck in their ways. Even though I smashed my quota every year and got glowing reviews each year along with a raise they still let me go because of a reorg and because someone didn't like me. I would not take a job at Oracle despite the good pay. You are not recognized for your hard work, there is no room to move up and your employment is based on rumors and if you are liked by management.
