      Pros

      The company has the right idea and vision for where cold calling is going. The hours are great. You never work beyond 5 so you are always home for dinner. The pay is great for what you do.

      Cons

      Upper management might have a great vision for where the company wants to go, but it takes a long way to move down through middle management. It's also a huge company which means you can easily get lost and feel like you are out on an island by yourself. And you will be cold calling. It's not as bad since the company is only selling to businesses and everyone in tech knows who Oracle is, but it is still cold calling.

      Pros

      Personally, I had a great manager however I saw enough to know that mine was the exception to the rule. Everything is run by "the book" as policies are evenly applied.

      Cons

      It's a massive and impersonal company. Some upper management were micromanagers. The company acquires technology companies and then does mostly maintenance. Very little R&D or innovation takes place there.
