Pros
Depending on which department you are in you can expect interesting work, high-calibre colleagues, great flexibility, and pretty decent benefits.
Cons
There are some pretty burdensome centralized processes that make it difficult at times to get what should be straightforward tasks done efficiently. You may start off with a good salary, but once you're in, no matter how outstanding your contributions, don't expect decent raises. After almost 20 years of work there, with outstanding reviews, I just got a 1.7% raise this year -- the first one in almost five years.
