      Pros

      Learned a lot at the beginning about both technology and sales during the training period. Can go to the gym during lunch and have a good work/life balance

      Cons

      Terrible company culture. Instead of working together, the way the organization is structured forces the account managers and field reps as well as other BDCs to work against each other for commission.

      Pros

      There are no pros other than the signing, mid-year, and one year bonus. The cafeteria in building 8 is also a pro because the tater tots are to die for. So there are a total of two pros.

      Cons

      Management above my direct manager was subpar. The trainings were classroom style and therefore unrealistic, theoretical, and ineffective to what we dealt with on a day to day basis. The company has a gym that is big enough for 30 people at a 3,000 person campus. The job is extremely monotonous but that was to be expected. The culture of the company is terrible. The only nice thing was being able to work with people my age. They align you with your product and org via lottery - which can turn out to make your time at oracle a cakewalk or make it impossible for you to hit your number unless you know how to finesse the duties of the job and get your sales reps to like you.       Hostile environment for women - men who intimidate women are not penalized but have grown in management and are key players in the company Limited pay raises - Oracle is not willing to invest in junior people or team building activities while senior leadership get huge retention bonuses every year
