      People worked hard to build a small company which gets acquired by oracle and then it turns their backs on the same folks.

      Sun has some of the best hard ware components that were second to none. The corporate culture is laid back and self managed.

      Was not able to capitalize on a huge amount of technological innovations because the senior management did not identify and encourage the most promising technologies and products.
