      Pros

      They aren't going out of business, so there is some stability in that. Their ruthless pursuit of shareholder value means a minor dip in your division's business will send you into the streets with a pink slip.

      Cons

      The company treats its employees very badly. They are the typical powerhouse, pushing others to the farthest extent possible before attrition is too damaging. Your manager and manager's manager and manager's manager's manager won't have the power to treat you right no matter how much they think it is fair unless the folks at the top decide to dispense some liberality. If you get hired in, you can know at that time the terms are fair to you. But year by year you'll slip farther behind.
