      The opportunity to work and learn from the best in the industry. Development team much more accessible when you are an employee and not an outsider

      Cons

      Huge company. Sometimes it seems as if you are only a drop in a bucket. A lot of pressure put on regional managers/etc... to dissuade these feelings

      Pros

      Being surrounded by smart people who help each other on the projects is one of the best reasons to work for Oracle. You can pick up necessary skillsets for system implementations easily with unlimited resources and free learning tools. Traveling is almost 100% as a consultant. If you like traveling, this is where you want to be.

      Cons

      Oracle will do whatever it takes to reach profit margin. Even if it means placing a freeze on promotions and taking away your bonuses in order to make new acquisitions. They will make you work until you drop.
