Pros
Things are not rigid hence you can make your own rules and ways on getting things done as long as it is within the GAP (Generally accepted policies) of Oracle. Of course it has to be legal and ethical, and follow the revenue recognition principle. The point is that you are not micro-managed to do your job and you can have full control (Depending on managers but I see it happening a lot of times) on how you want to do your job.
Cons
You can get fired as easy as dropping your pants. Only performance counts in Oracle and there is no such thing as being too senior to be fired.
