Pros

* Big company means lots of career opportunities. * Great benefits program for you and your family. * Depending on the Team, work/life balance is possible. * Lots of smart people to work with and to compete against.

Cons

* Big company means lots of process and/or repetitive process. * Loyalty factor is blemished given Microsoft claims economy is impacting them and laid-off strong performing employees with companywide job eliminations. This in turn puts a permanent blemish on their loyalty factor for those working or thinking of working there in the future.

Pros

good work life balance. very stable job compared to other companies. one can learn a lot and no work pressure.

Cons

there is hardly any quality work done. on top of that, compensation is very very ordinary. people are hired in dozens and as a result, average workforce. anyway, they don't need quality workforce.

Pros

Oracle provides a lot of skills and technical training. If you are willing to network and work hard - then it is a great place to work and thrive.

Cons

Expectations are high - however if you are a competent hard worker - that is not an issue!
